Wold top GFree... any compromise?
It's a hard concept to grasp of having to go gluten free, a couple of years ago I had a bit of a scare and had to gfree for a couple of weeks and man it was tough! The worst thing is that most beers contain gluten.Since then, I've had quite a few gluten free brews sent to my house, many have been pretty average, almost like drinking a standard light lager. So when I was mailed these brews I was slightly sceptical to say the least, things were crossing my mind like with they be average or will they be bland... Their labels definitely weren't, they were by far some of the most attractive artworks I've seen in the side of a bottle. Let's see how they panned!..
The Beers
Beer: Against the GrainBrewery: Wold Top BreweryOrigin: North Yorkshire, UKABV: 4.5%
Winner of the SIBA North Gold Award, Silver, Highly Commended in the Free From Awards & Great Taste Award 1Star Gold. "Perfect with fish and lightly spiced dishes".[su_row][su_column size="1/2"][/su_column][su_column size="1/2"]Pour- Incredibly light in colour with an almost sparkling champagne appearance.Aroma- This is matched with the aroma, very light, with an underlay of sharp, citrus notes.Taste- Mellow, refreshing flavours, finished off with a bitter-citrus, hoppy kick which almost creates the essence of a fine champagne and I would put it down as a very easy drinking, crafty lager.Definitely one for those hot, summer evenings that are hopefully coming soon!![/su_column][/su_row]Available to purchase at Waitrose, the Wold Top Brewery Website and selected retailers in Yorkshire.

EPIC COMBO!!!Everything works amazingly in this brew to create a truly magically balance IPA.[/su_column][/su_row]Available in selected M&S, Co-op, Sainsburys, Waitrose and Asda.
