More from Gusswerk!

Back in 2014, we reviewed some epic brews from the Brauhaus Gusswerk in Salzburg , Austria. This year they added some new beers to their amazing portfolio and in true Yeti style, we just had to check them out!..CereVinum - This one’s a beaut! With a light pink sparkle, this fine rose beer is a real gem! With light, mixed fruity flavor and hints of bitterness. Light, but not to be messed with at 8.1%!Imperial stout - An aroma of rich treacle and essence of coffee, met by a strong chocolatey flavour. As a classic dessert-style stout, this is perfect to pair pudding .Elderguss Radler - A sweet aroma with hints of citrus and almost berries, met with a beautiful, bitter-sweet shady body, bursting with citrusy sharpness and a little sweetness to create a party on the palate. The cloudiness and sediment just adds to the amazing character of this fresh lemonade-like brew!Dies Iræ - This one has a light chocolatey aroma, with hits of whisky, met with a strong bitter chocolate flavor. Apparently an aperitif or digestif, this one definitely has an Austrian feel. Comparable to a Schnapps after dinner, this bad boy is strong and full of kick! Although, this strong aperitif experience is dampened by a little sweetness on the tongue, that puts a smile on your face.
