Wold Top Brewery Launch New Lager!

Yorkshire based brewery Wold Top has added a brand new lager to their bottled range in response to customer demand. Landmark lager was initially launched in keg last year and was the first that the farm based brewery had produced since it was founded in 2003.We’ve become increasingly familiar with Wold Top Brewery over the past few years. Located on the Mellor family farm at Hunmanby Grange, near Filey, Wold Top are most notably renowned for their gluten free brews. These include;  Against the Grain (bitter), Marmalade Porter and our favourite, Scarborough Fair IPA, so as you can imagine we were keen to get hold of a couple of bottles of this newly bottled lager!A picture and review of Wold Top Brewery's new lager LandmarkLike many of Wold Top’s other beers, Landmark is gluten free, it also happens to be vegan too. Brewed using their homegrown, locally malted barley, the water used in this lager is sustainably sourced from the farm's borehole and has a mixture of British and European hops. It pours a beautiful straw colour, crystal clear with plenty of bubbles slowly rising to the surface. A slightly herbal aroma, with notes of sweet honey and a touch of lemongrass. Crisp and clean in flavour, with a refreshing bitter finish. We have to admit, it went down rather well, especially with this hot spell of weather on the go! A picture and review of Wold Top Brewery's new lager LandmarkYou can grab a bottle of this cracking lager via WoldTop’s online shop. It’s also available from selected convenience stores throughout Yorkshire. As always, it’s great to support independent businesses when we can, so if you’re getting out the barbie, this is definitely a good shout! In response to the recent Corvid-19 crisis, Wold Top have also been offering free delivery on two cases or two polypins of beer, so it’s definitely worth checking out the rest of their range too.
