Top Summer Brews!
So Summer is here... in a mixed bag kind of way, with blasts of heat followed by torrential downpours! But no matter what the weather is saying, we need to keep up with the British spirit, with shorts on even though it's 15 degrees outside, sunbathing even though it's overcast and of course having those Summer brews at the ready. So we've put together eleven truly EPIC brews to enjoy what we call the Great British Summer!
Marston's - 61 Deep Pale Ale 4.1% abv
Named after the well at the brewery that is 61 metres deep, this brew uses five American and Australian hops.[su_row][su_column size="1/2][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Golden, with a moderate, white head that quickly disperses. Lacons - Pale Ale 3.9% abv
"A modern expression of a recipe from 1906."[su_row][su_column size="1/2][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Deep, clear amber with little carbonation leaving a little lacing on the surface.Aroma: Citrusy, with hint of vanilla and sweet apple dipped in honey.Flavour: A cracking combination of sweet melon and honey, finished off with bitter grapefruit and zesty orange peel.Very interesting, definitely one for the summer with a lot more character then your average pale ale.[/su_column][/su_row]Available on cask in selected bars and pubs during June/July.For more info, check out their Website, Facebook and Twitter.
Autumn Brewing Co - Alt Brew No.2 4.6% abv
Brewed with the finest naturally gluten-free Californian rice malts, which is cool. Pirate Life Brewing - Throwback IPA 3.5% abv

Box Steam Brewery - Golden Bolt 3.8% abv
Box Steam's newest creation, earned a silver medal in SIBA’s South West regional keg heats in the ‘Standard Bitters & Pale Ales up to 4.4%’ category.[su_row][su_column size="1/2][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Amber, slightly carbonated, with an off-white head that reduces.Aroma: Citrusy, with hints of fresh summer fruits, followed by a bold blast of strawberry and lime. Little Creatures - Pale Ale 5.2% abv

Nirvana Brewery - Tantra Pale Ale 0.0% abv
This is from the UK's only alcohol free brewery and London’s so called 100th brewery. Lost Rivers Brewing Co - Walbrook Pale Ale 4.5% abv
Another brew from Lost Rivers Brewing Co, located just a stone’s throw away from the Lost Rivers such as the Bermondsey Yard Cafe.[su_row][su_column size="1/2][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Slightly clouded light amber, with a moderate head that reduces slightly.
