Canada’s Best Beer Festivals - By Behn watson
A beer festival is a great way to spend a day, and for more reasons than the obvious of tipping back a few of your favourites. Seeing as how they’re festivals, there’s bound to be myriad options in every style. What this amounts to is you’re going to be able to try many new and exciting varieties, potentially exposing yourself to a whole new world of beverages. With that in mind, we thought we would discuss Canada’s best beer festivals and give you the opportunity to stop by should you be in the neighbourhood. There are tons of local craft breweries there serving up their usual staples as well as a few of the more interesting seasonal brews they have on the go. There’s also a ton of food available should you need something to sop up the suds. Pay as you go makes things simple and still gives you the option to try anything you want, whether you’re a lager man or someone who’s into sours. A fun way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon.[/su_column][/su_row][su_row][su_column size="1/2"][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Calgary International Beerfest- Calgary, AlbertaCalgary’s Beerfest is an indoor event, which given the unpredictable nature of the weather can be a blessing, held at the BMO centre. There are over 500 beers to try and are all easy to find and access given the space in which the event takes place. It’s a fun event that many people attend to try new and exciting offerings from Calgary’s budding beer scene. It’s accessible and affordable, which means it can be an event to spend a lot or a little time at depending on your state of mind.[/su_column][/su_row] Vancouver Craft Beer Week- Vancouver, BCThis event is different as it takes place over the course of a week and contains many smaller events within it. Vancouver has a great beer scene with many micro breweries located in town and this event involves all of these and many others. If you’re into different styles of beer like saisons or porters, this is a great festival that involves a lot of food and a lot of fun.Behn [su_row][su_column size="1/2"][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Behn Watson runs a men’s fashion blog over at DuckSoupStyle.com.
