Cancelled: Craft Drink Festival at the NEC, Birmingham!
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Craft Drink Festival 2018 due to take place at the NEC in Birmingham on the 28th and 29th July has been cancelled.Running for the first time this July, Craft Drink Festival will give craft drink enthusiasts a number of reasons to get excited this festival season! Heading to Birmingham’s NEC on 28 + 29 July and making the most of the venue’s unique outdoor space, the festival invites attendees to discover a whole world of craft beer, spirits and street food while enjoying stand-up comedy, live music, cinema and talks.At Craft Drink Festival, a bustling pop-up town of bars, food trucks, stages and more will provide an all-round summer experience that’s more rounded and diverse than your average beer festival.Over 35 breweries and distilleries have been confirmed so far, giving visitors the chance to taste hundreds of craft drinks, ranging from beer and cider to gin, whiskey, tequila, brandy and wine.[su_row][su_column size="1/2"][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"][/su_column][/su_row]Breweries so far confirmed include Mad Squirrel, Reunion Ales, Stewart Brewing, White Rock Brewery Co., Sadler’s Brewing Co., Craft Academy, Black Storm, Bude Brewery, Hunter’s Brewery, Mallinsons Brewing Company, and Northern Monkey Brew Co. But it doesn’t stop there. Across the weekend visitors can experience stand-up comedy, attend Brew Kettle tasting sessions and talks, watch films inside the pop-up Cinema, talk business in the Trade Barrel, and catch live music across two stages.[su_row][su_column size="1/2"][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"][/su_column][/su_row]In the gardens the Main Stage will pump out indie/alternative on Saturday, while Sunday offers up more of a blues and soul vibe.
