Birmingham Brewing Co Beer Review
With new brewery Birmingham Brewing Company causing mass hysteria in Birmingham’s craft beer scene and a Stout and IPA soon to be on the way , we had to crack these bad boys open!
Pale Brummie - 4.0% abv
[su_row][su_column size="1/2][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Golden, slightly misty in colour, with a nice frothy head that leaves a fair bit of lacing.Aroma: Hoppy, slightly citrusy with a sweet biscuity underlay and a hint of caramel.Flavour: A bitter hoppy feel, followed by a hint of caramel in the finish.Thirst quenching and EPIC![/su_column][/su_row]
Bitter Brummie - 4.1% abv
[su_row][su_column size="1/2][/su_column] [su_column size="1/2"]Appearance: Deep copper/ amber, with a slight haze, thick frothy head and slightly carbonated.Aroma: Malty, with hint of caramel, followed by a dash of spice and a tiny hit of fresh fruit.Flavour: The sweet malty caramel notes are followed through into the flavour, met with a hint of fresh orange peel, finished off with a strong bitter hit makes you want more![/su_column][/su_row]VERY sessionable, definitely brings a lot more to the table than your average bitter! So all in all some great brews on the go and judging by these, there’s going to be a lot more great things to come from Birmingham Brewing Company.Great work guys!
