If you run races just to get to the beer garden, why not run with your friends and have the beer garden along the entire course?[su_row][su_column size="1/3"][/su_column] [su_column size="2/3"]Bend Beer Chase allows you and your friends to experience 70 miles of team running with 18 breweries along the course!The Bend Beer Chase will be held on June 6th, 2015 and is the longest beer relay in the United States . Bend has become widely known for it’s craft beer scene, and the surrounding towns of Redmond and Sisters are closely following suit. With a team of six runners, each runner can expect to run approximately 9-11 miles, split between two legs. They will start at Worthy then go to 10 Barrel to Bridge 99 to Ochoco to Wild Ride to Smith Rock to Juniper to Sunriver to Three Creeks to Riverbend to Ghost Runners to Bendistillery to Bend Brewing Company to Silver Moon to Deschutes Brew Pub to McMenamins to Atlas Cider to Crux Fermentation Project.Once a team has completed the relay portion all runners on the team will complete the Keg Leg together. The Keg Leg, which also allows individuals to register and run the Keg Leg only, involves 6 brewery visits, finishing on the lawn at Crux Fermentation Project. Breweries will be providing runners a sample of their beer along with games and prizes at their breweries.The Bend Beer Chase is a race, a celebration, and a vacation all wrapped up in one day of running.
