Stroud Brewery - I.P.A (IPA, 5.6%)
They already have their fantastic brewery tap room, with amazing pizza, but things are about to get really exciting for Stroud Brewery, with an ambitious move 100 yards away to a brand-new purpose built brewery this Autumn!Appearance: Light amber, with a slight haze and a dense white head that stays with you.Aroma: Pine, with a hint of fresh mandarin and a very citrusy feel.Flavour: Citrus, met by a touch of peach and other stone fruit, which is mellowed by a slightly biscuity undertone and a hoppy bitterness.Exceptionally well balanced and very easy to drink, especially in hot weather like this!Available to purchase via Planet Organic!For more info, check out their Website, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
Seven Bro7hers - IPA (IPA, 5.0%)
Started by seven brothers, this brewery has been making a lot of noise, successfully securing future investment from a crowdfunding campaign. Hoppebrau - Fuchsteufelswuid (DIPA, 8.2%)
From Waakirchen in Bavaria in Germany, this brew is dry-hopped with Taurus, Galaxy and Calypso and at 72 IBU’s is a real beast!Appearance: Clear amber, with a dense, moderate head and some bubbles slowly rising to the surface.Aroma: Freshly cut grass, with a hint of lemon, citrus fruit and wheat, with a mellow sweet underlay.Flavour: A herbal, slightly peaty sweetness, with a hint of red berries, finished off with a bitter hoppy finish.Fresh, crisp and VERY refreshing, with plenty of depth, especially at 8.2%!Available to purchase on BeerWulf!For more info, check out their Website, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
Bath Ales - Lansdown (West Coast IPA, 5.0%)
These guys opened their new state-of-the-art “Hare Brewery” back in May, accompanied by their chalk “Hare on the Hill”!Appearance: Clear, autumnal brown, with a small head that leaves a touch of lacing on the surface and on the side of the glass.Aroma: Tropical, with a dash of burnt treacle, chocolate, banana and vanilla.Flavour: A blast of bitter, hoppy pine, citrusy lemongrass, followed by a hit of banana and vanilla.
