Beer + Music = Liquid Inspiration
Drinking a beer is never an unaccompanied experience; whether you’re chatting with friends, watching TV or enjoying the scenery, beer is there to enhance these experiences. One of the best and most ancient combinations has to be music and beer. History time: Humans have a fundamental connection to music, we have evolved alongside it since our origins in Africa, and beer has been produced as early as the 5th century BC in ancient Sumeria, now Iran.
So, the next natural step in our beer-drinking matches is music and brews. We’ve curated a few pairings to get you started on your new favourite pastime

Sadler’s Brewing Co. - 1861 (White Beer, 5.3%)
It doesn’t get more British than a pop/rock group from Liverpool and long-established family-run Black Country brewery. This brew was inspired by The Reinheitsgebot, a German Purity law which insists all Bavarian beers must be brewed using just 4 ingredients. The combination of Sadler’s 1861 White Beer and The Lightning Seeds first single, Pure, brings the image of lazy, British Summertime. And with over 100 years of crafting beer, and plenty of awards along the way, Sadler’s know how to bring the feel-good vibes!
Appearance: Pours a hazy, golden orange, with a frothy head that reduces gradually to linger on the glass.
Aroma: An upfront hit of banana chips, with spicy lemongrass and subtle floral notes - altogether, a distinctive Belgian-style wheat beer yeast.
Flavour: The spice takes centre stage, adding peppery notes, which compliment a subtle bitterness from the hops. Gives a refreshing, slightly fruity finish.
A flavourful and hoppier-style white beer, drink in the sunshine. ♪Pure and simple everytime.
