As the oldest independent Brewery in Sussex, UK, Harveys is renowned for being a traditional English brewer, so when these three intriguing brews arrived at my door, I couldn't wait to crack them open in front of the warm fire![su_row][su_column size="1/2"][/su_column][su_column size="1/2"]

This is a Russian inspired imperial stout, with a cracking history on the label but I’ll leave it for you guys to read! This is a sweet one alright!.. A sweet 9%! Hints of coffee in the aroma, subtle sweet flavors, mellowed by a coffee blast!.. Mellow yes!.. Warming?.. Yes!... Smiling?... Sweet, fruitcake aroma with hints of berries which is followed through into the flavor finished off with a nice little bitterness which counterbalances the sweetness. A nice mild brew, that's not too rich but goes down smoothly with a punch![/su_column][/su_row]Three words... smooth, warm, traditional... Love it!
